The Dodgers love Miles Mikolas for some reason, as they hit him at a .320 average in 103 At Bats, with a .375 OBP. This has translated into 33 hits and 9 walks, with 6 of those hits being Home Runs. Mikolas comes into this game with a 5.30 ERA and 1.29 WHIP. He has only faced the Dodgers once this year, in his first start on March 28th, where he went 4.1 innings, allowing 7 hits, 5 runs, 2 walks and 2 Home Runs. In his last 5 starts, Mikolas has allowed 20 runs on 38 hits, 5 Home Runs. Granted, 4 of those Home Runs came in one game against the Cubs, but the fact remains that if he loses a little control and leaves pitches hanging, then teams will make him pay. The Dodgers clearly have a powerful lineup, their biggest problem has been getting runners in scoring position home. This is a great time for them to correct some of their recent woes in this category, as they hit Mikolas well. Definitely a little wary of the Dodgers, but this fits our system very well and it cannot be ignored.
