New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers 3:30pm EST
Over 218.5 -110 (1u)
Headed back to this Knick/Pacers series for Game 4 between New York and Indiana. We sat out last game, but we leaned under and watched it hit, today we are jumping back on it here with a number they keep giving us in this series, 218.5. These two teams have cleared this line in two games so far this series and the analysis is still the same as Games 1 and 2. This matchup in the regular season produced points every single time, and it did just that in Games 1 and 2. Game 1 hit the over with the total at 216.5, Game 2 they raised the total a bit where it climbed as high as 222.5 before dropping down to 218.5. Game 2 these two teams combined for 251 pts in a no-sweat cash. Game 3's line was again around 222.5 and that was a little too high for us, as we watched the game finish 111-106.
Let's talk Pace: Indiana play at a relentless pace of basketball, they currently rank second in the league in Pace and this has been evident in Games 1-3. Game 1 saw the Knicks commit 14 turnovers, Game 2 the Knicks were able to limit the turnovers to just 9 and get the win. Last time out in Game 3, the Pacers realized they need to play more defensf and forced 13 turnovers en route to a win on home court to make the series 2-1. We said in the write-up for Game 2, that the Pacers are the epitome of "You can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them". Pacers find themselves first in the NBA in PPG with 123.3 and find themselves 4-0 at home in this post season.
Over to the Knicks, who looked in control of this series before heading to Indiana. If they want to take one here before going back to MSG, they need a little more from Jalen Brunson. He had only 26 pts in Game 3, a total we are not used to seeing out of Jalen Brunson this post-season. He went 10/26 from the field as Indiana were able to disrupt him offensively. One good note of this for the Knicks is that DiVincenzo stepped up big-time in the absence of OG Anunoby who will not be available for Game 4 still nursing a hamstring injury. Look for the Knicks to get back to the tempo that they want to play and try to get some control over Game 4 here in Indianapolis. Give us the over 218.5 points here for Game 4 as both of these teams love putting up points.
